Sensorship on YouTube an Outrage!

I was so mad. I couldn't believe it! Joe and I travel . . . alot! We photograph and video everything. We don't leave our accomodation unless we have at least 2 cameras with us. We are passionate about recording everything we see and do. We want to be able to share our images with everyone who doesn't have the opportunity to travel. So that's the lead up.

While we were in Dominican Republic, we chatted with a tour guide in a little town called Las Galeras, Samana about things to do - cock fight came up. It's a D.R. custom. In fact, at one time companies had scheduled tours for Sunday cock fights . It is a huge cultural event . . . music - friends - eating - drinking. So we went and experienced it - photographed it - filmed it. It truly was an amazing cultural event. We uploaded our video to YouTube along with hundreds of other travel video clips from our trip. We'd had about 3000 people view it when without warning, YouTube pulled. We were emailed after it was due to 'community standards'. Needless to say, there are still many, many cock fight videos up and being viewed. In fact, we even have 2 that YouTube left. Go figure! What's that all about!!!! Sensorship by what standards! And, don't even get me started about some of the other so called 'content' that YouTube permits. YouTube bites!
